Design and Implementation of Large Coal Pile Volume Calculation System Based on Virtual Instrument

  • 摘要: 为解决大型煤炭堆体积庞大、传统人工测量难以实施,以及现有体积测量方法需要多个软件联合编程、交互性差、耗时长、兼容性不佳的问题,开发了一种基于虚拟仪器技术的大型煤炭堆体积计算系统。该系统采用LabVIEW编程环境,首先对采集到的煤炭堆点云数据进行统计滤波预处理,剔除无法准确反映特征信息的离群噪声点;接着对预处理后的点云数据进行双调和样条插值运算,重新绘制出完整且简洁的煤炭堆点云图、曲面图及俯视图;最后利用规则格网法计算体积。该系统计算精度稳定可靠,实验数据显示,29组数据的相对误差均控制在6%以内,适用于大型煤炭堆体积测量。

     

    Abstract: In order to solve the problems of large volume of large coal pile, difficult implementation of traditional manual measurement, and the need for multiple software joint programming, poor interactivity, long time consumption, and poor compatibility of existing volume measurement methods, a large coal pile volume calculation system based on virtual instrument technology is developed. This system adopts LabVIEW programming environment to conduct statistical filtering pre-processing on the collected coal pile point cloud data at first, and remove outlier noise points that cannot accurately reflect feature information; Secondly, conduct bitonic and spline interpolation operation on the pre-processed point cloud data to redraw a complete and concise coal pile point cloud map, surface chart, and top view; Finally, utilize the regular grid method to calculate the volume. This system has stable and reliable calculation accuracy, the experimental data shows that the relative errors of 29 sets of data are controlled within 6%, which is suitable for large coal pile volume measurement.
