Abstract:
Aiming at the deviation problem between actual drilling strata and design caused by complex structures, rapid changes in strata lithology, and lack of regional stratigraphic determination data in Wangjiang depression of Jiangsu Anhui region, the study takes Morlet wavelet analysis as the core technology, proposes a differentiated wavelet analysis strategy of adopting natural gamma (GR) curves for sandy mudstone sections and adopting resistivity (RD) curves for carbonate rock sections to carry out finely stratigraphic division of the 1th well in Wanwangdi. A 1D wavelet transform with a scale of 1024 is conducted on well logging curves of 0-600 m GR, 478-1150 m RD, and 867-1 305.04 m GR by the Matlab platform, the results indicate that there is a significant corresponding relationship between the distribution characteristics of energy clusters and the main lithology and stratigraphic interfaces. Through the age determination of the Qixia Formation's fusulinid fossil, the biomarker of the "Chuanshan Group" in the Carboniferous Chuanshan Formation, and the comprehensive verification of geological rock core and well logging data, the detailed stratigraphic stratification and strata sequence characteristics of the well are clarified. The research shows that the wavelet transform method can effectively assist in stratigraphic division of complex structural areas, which is mutually corroborated with conventional stratigraphic identification methods and provides a new technical idea for stratigraphic research under similar geological conditions.
