Abstract: The reserves verification and exploration project in Pingshan Coal Mine is a newly undertaken project.The project team is not familiar with the coal seam characteristics and coal quality characteristics of Pingshan Region,and lacks relevant geological data.In order to thoroughly understand the coal seam and coal quality characteristics in Pingshan Region,clarify the formation lithology,geological structure,and coal quality characteristics of Pingshan Region,grasp first-hand geological data,provide basic data for subsequent design and construction,and conduct geological mapping and field reconnaissance work in Pingshan Region.The exposed strata and geological structures in Pingshan Region are investigated in the field through the adoption of tracing method and crossing method.The strata in Pingshan Region are actual measured through the method of actual measuring geological profiles,coal seam samples are collected according to sampling standards and sent to the laboratory for coal quality characteristic analysis.This study can accurate grasp coal seam characteristics and coal quality characteristics,provide basic data for subsequent exploration and design,and provide a certain reference for other projects in Pingshan Region.
