Research on Technology of Advanced Roof Cutting and Retaining Roadway Along Goaf in Thick and Hard Roof

Abstract
In view of the problem of large support pressure of the roadway side support bodies and high difficulty in controlling retaining roadway surrounding rock of the retaining roadway along goaf of the thick and hard roof, advanced roof cutting pressure relief and roadway side filling support technology with high water material are adopted to transform the lateral breaking structure of the thick and hard roof, form a short cantilever beam structure, reduce the overall pressure carried by the small structure of the roof above the retaining roadway, and decrease the load transmitted from the thick and hard roof to the roadway side filling bodies with high water material. After on-site application, it is found that this technology can effectively control the roof, and the overall forming effect of the roadway is relatively good, the relative movement amount of the roof and floor is 445.4 mm, and the relative movement amount of the two sides is 389.6 mm, providing a reference for retaining roadway along goaf of thick and hard roof.
