Research on Stress Distribution and Support Process Optimization of Large Dip Angle Coal Seam Roadway

  • In view of the difficult problems such as high support difficulty, severe roof fragmentation and others in the mining process of large dip angle coal seams faced by Guxian Lanhua Baoxin Coal Industry in Shanxi Province, a set of intelligent pressure monitoring system based on distributed network architecture is constructed. This system deploys 42 monitoring points in the eastern roadway group of the first mining area to conduct in-depth research on the distribution characteristics of the stress field. Monitoring data are conducted to be processed by utilizing multi-dimensional data fusion method, a stress distribution theoretical model that takes into account the influence of inclination angle is established, and with the help of the verification of FLAC3D numerical simulation, differentiated support parameter schemes are proposed, precise support for areas with different dangerous levels is effectively achieved. The roadway maintenance frequency is decreased by 75%, the total annual maintenance cost is decreased by 44.87%, and the surrounding rock integrity is improved by 35%.
