Research and Application of Pre-splitting Blasting Roof Cutting and Roadway Retaining Technology

In view of the problems of large deformation amount and poor stability of surrounding rock during the construction period of roadway retaining along goaf process, taking the 22204 working face of Yunmei No.2 Mine as the research background, a process of pre-splitting blasting roof cutting technology is proposed, the implementation of energy gathering blasting on the roadway roof is conducted by combining water gel dynamites and energy gathering pipes. During the working face stoping period, the maximum displacement amount of the roadway roof and floor is 319 mm, and the maximum displacement amount of the two sides of the roadway is 193 mm. Compared with the adjacent unconstructed pre-splitting roof cutting working face, the deformation amount of the surrounding rock is decreased by 38%, and the stability of the surrounding rock is effectively improved.
