Application of Comprehensive Gas Prevention and Control Technology in Huayang No.1 Mine

  • Aiming at the problems of gas accumulation and upper corner exceeding limit in the goaf of the U-shaped ventilation system of the 15502 fully mechanized mining face in Huayang No.1 Mine, based on the fluid mechanics theory and the fissure field evolution law, a ventilation-extraction-monitoring collaborative governance technical system is constructed by adopting the combination method of numerical simulation and on-site actual measurement. By optimizing the layout of the high pumping roadway, the vertical distance from the roof is controlled at 60.4 m, and the horizontal distance from the return air roadway is maintained at 54 m. A dual source collaborative extraction of ground pumping station of 600 m3/min and mobile pumping station of 480 m3/min is implemented; KJ90X intelligent monitoring system is established to achieve rapid response in 8 seconds; A total of 564 boreholes with a total of 67.68 km footage are completed by adopting mechanical cave-making and permeability enhancement technology. After implementation, the gas concentration in the return air roadway of the working face is remained stable within the range of 0.42%-0.48%, and the extraction efficiency is improved from the original 32.5% to 43.7% (under the same geological conditions and equipment parameters), the number of gas overlimits is dropped from an average of 4.8 times per month to 0.8 times per month, with a decrease of 83%, and the gas governance effect is obvious.
