Application and Research on Comprehensive Geophysical Exploration Means of Pit Penetration and Transient Electromagnetic in Longhua Coal Industry

  • In view of the hidden dangers of water accumulation in the roof limestone aquifer and floor goaf of the 15104 working face in Longhua Coal Industry, a comprehensive geophysical exploration is carried out by adopting the combination of Radio Wave Pit Penetration Method (RCT) and Transient Electromagnetic Method (TEM). Based on the "dual-field coupling" mapping model, precise positioning of water richness in complex structural areas is achieved. Through the linkage criteria of "high attenuation-low resistance" and "high attenuation-high resistance", after eliminating the interference of metal brackets, 8 abnormal water bearing areas are successfully delineated. According to the drilling verification, it is indicated that the water inflow of a single hole is 0-8 m3/h, of which ≥ 2 m3/h are determined as the water bearing areas, with an anastomosis rate of 96% and a Kappa consistency coefficient of 0.83. The research shows that the K2 limestone fissure aquifer and fault fragmentation zone are the main factors of water control, while the X1 collapse column has no water conducting risk, providing a basis for safe mining.
