Application Research of OVT Domain Processing Technology in Three-dimensional Seismic Exploration of Coalfields in Loess Plateau Region

Abstract
In view of the problems of complex shallow coverage, poor seismic imaging quality, difficulty in crack structure identification and others in strata of Gaojiabao Coal Mine in Loess Plateau Region, OVT (Offset Vector Tile) domain processing technology is introduced to construct a three-dimensional seismic processing flow suitable for wide-azimuth coalfield exploration. Based on the five-dimensional interpolation reconstruction theory, data regularization and sparse reconstruction are implemented, effectively improving the spatial integrity and directional consistency of seismic data. On this basis, the coherent attributes, variance attributes, and frequency division coherent fusion technology are integrated to achieve multi-scale identification and fine characterization of coal seam crack structures. The results show that this method significantly enhances the clarity of the lateral distribution of fracture structures, with the prediction error controlled within ± 35 m and good geological consistency. The innovation point of the research is that OVT domain five-dimensional interpolation and multi-attribute fusion technology are jointly applied to coalfields in Loess Plateau Region, significantly improving the structural identification accuracy and data quality under complex geological conditions, providing a strong support for well location deployment and risk aversion.
