Optimization of Impact-resistant Design for Air Door and Window Structures in Coal Mine Ventilation Systems

  • To address the safety challenge of wind door and window failures caused by 0.3-0.5 MPa gas explosion shockwaves in deep coal mining, this study focuses on optimizing the structural design of traditional wind doors and windows from three aspects: structural form, layout method, and key parameters. The engineering context involves a coal mine with a mining depth of 680-950 m and an annual production capacity of 1.2 million tons. The integrated anti-deformation system was constructed using components such as Q355B I-beams, featuring an innovative symmetric arrangement of dual ventilation units. Key parameters, including a steel beam cross-section size of 400 mm×200 mm×10 mm, were clearly defined. Performance tests demonstrated that the permanent deformation of the optimized wind door and door panels was reduced to (7.9±0.4) mm, with a residual displacement at the joints of only 1.3 mm. The sealing leakage rate was (2.3±0.3) m3/min, achieving a structural integrity rate of 96.5%. The system exhibited excellent impact resistance and structural stability under long-term service and varying impact angles. This research effectively enhanced the anti-impact capabilities of deep coal mine ventilation safety facilities, providing technical support and design paradigms for preventing and controlling gas explosion shock waves in similar mines.
